The Council of the American Physical Society elected Dr. Marc Smith as an APS Fellow in the Division of Fluid Dynamics for his fundamental contributions to the fields of interfacial fluid mechanics and heat transfer and to the modernization of fluid mechanics education. Nominated by Paul Neitzel, election to the APS Fellowship is recognition by Smith's peers of his outstanding contributions to physics.
